Your Relationship with You Have you ever seen this in someone else? They are kind beyond measure to their friends, family, and even strangers. They’ll do anything for them in the name of being selfless. The thing is, at the end of the day, they’re lying to themselves in every moment, they’re beating themselves up with their own judgments of how undeserving they are, and they’re their own worst critic. The lies they tell themselves are, “I’m alone,” “Nobody loves me,” “I don’t deserve it,” “I’m not good enough,” “I’m ugly” and on and on. Sometimes the nicest people are hardest on themselves. In my experience, I’ve never encountered someone who’s never beat themselves up at some point in their life.
